  2. Take 2 cloves
  3. Prepare 2 black Cardamom

  8. Prepare 1 tsp chopped garlic

  13. Make ready To taste Salt and red chilli powder
  14. Make ready 2 tbsp Malai / cream

  16. Get as needed Oil for cooking
  17. Get 2 tsp corinader leaves
  18. Make ready 250 gm Paneer cut in cubes
Steps to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. For Gravy : In a pan heat some oil. Add whole jeera, tej patta, long, chotti, badi elachi cinnamon stick, mix well.
  2. Add chopped onion and mix well. Cook till they become translucent. Add chopped ginger and garlic, mix well. Add chopped tomatoes.and stir well. (Remember the qty of the tomatoes should be double the onions). Add mirchi powder and salt to taste and mix well.
  3. Add cashews and mix well. Add little water. Cover the lid of the pan and cook for 5-6 mins on medium flame. After 5-6 mins, switch off the gas and let the gravy cool down.
  4. The gravy has cooled down by now. Blend the gravy in a blender and strain it with a strainer to get silky smooth gravy. Put the gravy in a pan heat for a while and add cream / malai to it. Mix well and immediately switch off the gas. Put the paneer cubes in the gravy and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
