  1. Prepare 1/2 kg Matar
  2. Take 300 grams Paneer fresh
  3. Make ready 3 onion

  7. Take salt(according to taste)
  8. Take 1/2 tsp Cumin powder

Matar paneer is a regular dish in Punjabi households. It is ubiquitious dish and goes very well rice, puri and rice. Steps to make Matar Paneer:
  1. Just peel peas and wash. Peel onions, garlic, ginger and tomatoes to make paste in mixi and put Paneer in hot water to make it soft.
  2. Firstly make paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli. And tomatoes puree separately. Now take pressure cooker and add oil and heat it and then add paste to it.
  3. Now saute till golden Brown and add tomatoes puree to it and after 2-3mins add Dry ingredients to it.
  4. Now heat another pan with water boil it… and add peas to the masala in pressure cooker and add hot boiling water to it and let it whistle for 3.
  5. Now cut paneer in to Cubes. and deep fry in a pan to make it light golden.And add this to the ready gravy. Your Matar Paneer is ready to serve!!! Enjoy with chapatis!!
