  1. Get 1 cup pacha arusi

  4. Take a wide open pan, pour water and add jaggery to it.
  5. Strain the jaggery syrup. Smash the cooked rice and add jaggery syrup to it.
  6. Take another pan and add ghee to it.
  7. Roast the cashew and raisins.
  8. Add this to  the pongal and add another 2tsp of  ghee on it.
